What We Do
Stroller Walk for Maternal Mental Health
Each year we walk together to break the silence around maternal mental health. Families get free perinatal mood screenings and a connection to care, and nobody has to walk alone.
Our favorite night of the year! Bid on local treasures, and know that every dollar goes straight back to the families we serve.
Silent Auction Fundraiser
Free Annual Exams for At-Risk Women
With our partners at LabCorp and Aspire Women's Rehab, we provide free blood work and mammograms to women who might otherwise go without. Early screening saves lives.
Why Your Gift Matters

When you give to Community Roots, you're doing more than making a donation. You're standing beside a mom who needs a mammogram she can't afford, a new parent quietly struggling after birth, and a family looking for its village.
Because we're a nonprofit rooted in our own community, your gift stays local and goes directly to the families we serve.
Your support helps provide:
Free blood work and mammograms for at-risk women
Free perinatal mood screenings and mental health resources
Support groups, parenting workshops, and breastfeeding help
Family events where no one has to feel alone
